Memorial Garden
Come visit our Memorial Garden for a moment of reflection and honor. If you would like to add a loved one to our Garden, we have spaces available for reservation. Please contact the Parish Office at 573-547-4300 to gather more information about our options.
- Option 1: 8" x 8" Pavers throughout the walkway. $350 each 4 lines, 3/4" letters, 12 Characters (including spaces)
- Option 2: 8" x 5" Pavers throughout the walkway. $175 each 3 lines, 3/4" letters, 12 Characters (including spaces)
- Option 3: 5" x 5" Pavers throughout the walkway. $100 each 2 lines, 3/4" letters, 7-8 Characters (including spaces)
Sacraments
The Sacrament of Baptism is normally celebrated at 12:30 p.m. each Sunday (excluding the Lenten Season). Parent's of the child to be baptized are required to attend a Baptismal Preparation Session. These are held the 2nd Sunday of each month at 1:00 p.m. Please call the parish office at 547-4300 to register for the session.
Reconciliation is normally celebrated Wednesday-Friday after the 8:00 am Masses; Saturday after the 8:00 am Mass; and Saturday from 3:30-4:05 pm before the Saturday Vigil Mass. Seasonal Parish Reconciliation Services are held during Advent and Lent. For dates and times, contact the Parish Office at 573-547-4300.
The Sacrament of First Communion is normally celebrated during the second grade year. Appropriate religious education and formation takes place during the second grade year at St. Vincent Elementary School and in the PSR Program. The Sacrament of Confirmation is normally celebrated during the eight grade year. Appropriate religious education and formation takes place during the eight grade year at St. Vincent Jr. High School and in the PSR Program. Adults who have not been confirmed and are interested in the Sacrament of Confirmation, should call Sister Delores Schilli at 573-547-4300 ext. 104.
Please contact the Parish Office at 573-547-4300 at least one year prior to your desired wedding date. Several meetings with the priest as well as Archdiocesan Preparation Classes are required for marriage in the Catholic Church.
Any young man considering the priesthood is encouraged to speak with one of the parish priests.
A Healing Mass with the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is celebrated twice a year.
RCIA is the process through which one joins the Church or completes his or her Christian initiation. It begins the first week of September and ends at the Easter Vigil. Sponsors support the person completing the rites by participating in weekly meetings and celebrating the rites. Sponsors must be a practicing Catholic.
